Salina Island has over 15 dive sites, each of which has a great variety of marine geomorphology, marine fauna and bathymetry:

1 - Secca del Capo: a rock in open sea 5 Nm from the North tip of the Island: it has a an unusually jagged shape, and offers very striking glimpses of the open blue. Meetings with demersal fish (eg, amberjacks, barracudas, torpedoes) are on the agenda, together with a characteristic benthic fauna, including populations of crinoids that inhabit the coralligenous reef.
Depth: 9m min, max 45m
Degree of difficulty: medium-difficult

2 – Capo Faro: This site hides unexpected encounters with invertebrates that inhabit the sandy bottoms. The site has a depth ranging from -5 (perfect for beginners) to -45 (for the more experienced). After storms, it is possibile sometimes to see remains of ancient  Roman amphorae in the sand.
Depth: 9m min, max 45m
Degree of difficulty: medium-difficult

3 – Scoglio del Cappero: the dive starts in the blue at a depth of around 25 meters and then follows a long jagged wall that lies on a 45-meter deep sandy bottom. Throughout its length there are cracks, crevices and burrows inhabited by sedentary benthic invertebrates and fishes. Generally populated by a great variety of nudibranchs with different dimensions, colors and shapes.
Depth: 25m min, max 45m

Degree of difficulty: medium-difficult

4 – Scoglio Piramide: Our unpublicized dive, it starts with a dip in the blue to a depth of around 25 meters, after which the apex of a large stone monolith appears, with a natural ladder carved in the rock (hence the name of the site). Along the walls of the rock, a number of multicolored sea anemones and other wonderful invertebrates (eg. lobsters) and fish such as breams, ducts, moray eels, groupers can be found.. The particularity of this site is that very few divers and fishermen are familiar with it, hence fish are not wary of divers, and, on the contrary, are sometimes  curious about new visitors.
Depth: 23m min, max 45m
Degree of difficulty: medium-difficult

5 – Grotta dei Gamberi: a spectacular wall that extends from a depth of -0.5 to -30 m. The total length is about a hundred yards, along which a rich coralligenous reef grows, home to a high biodiversity of fish and invertebrates. The peculiarity of this dive is the presence of a ravine that hosts thousands of shrimps. There are also numerous Alexandrian groupers following divers, from a distance, during the diving. This dive is spectacular at night, characterized by a constant surrounding of shrimps along the route, together with other crustaceans (eg. magnose and spider crabs) and night fish predators!
Depth: 1m min, max 32m
Degree of difficulty: easy

6 and 9 – Faraglione di Pollara: this dive site is located in the natural amphitheater of Pollara Bay and next to the impressive rock arch called "The Perciato". The dive is characterized by a wall leading from the Pollara cliff to the open. The wall starts at a depth of 27 meters, with a sandy bottom with large rocks that host crustaceans and octocorals (eg Eunicella cavolinii). On the bottom of the south side of the cliff, there are two anchors and a bastimental iron cannon, dated back to 1600.
Depth: 3m min, max 25m
Degree of difficulty: easy

7 and 8 - Secca di Pollara: a jump into the blue to a depth of 30 meters, where the hat of the shawl starts, inhabited by giant groupers and dozens of groupers that seems to oversee the shawl; possible meetings with dozens of large size amberjacks, sea slugs of various shapes and colors ...... and a real lobster building in the most deep rock of the dive site. Depth: 27m min, max 45m
Degree of difficulty: difficult

Depth: 8m min, max40m
Degree of difficulty: easy

11 and 12 – Punta Megna and Scoglio dell'Ariana: are respectively a rocky ridge and a rocky coralligenous reef near the port of Rinella. Both  sites allow neophytes and beginners to enjoy the beauties of sea at a depth of a few meters.
Depth: 18m max
Degree of difficulty: easy

13 and 14 – Tre Pietre: a dive site characterized by ridges of rock divided by large poseidonia. In the first case (number 13) the path includes visiting the three rocks and arriving at the base of a particularly attractive pinnacle, due to its geological conformation (it looks like a witch's pointy hat) and to the layers of resident groupers and octopuses brooding their eggs. In the second case (number 14) the dive goes up to 42 meters, where you can see large sponges (eg. the Elephant’s ear sponge) and sometimes even large lobsters!
Depth: 5m min, max 36/42m
